The testPAC field committee used some extra time this weekend to draft a letter to everyone who contributed to the PAC in the first quarter of 2012. The main goal of the letter is to let our contributors know that we value their input on the direction of the PAC, as well as reassure them that we will keep the political pressure on politicians that disregard individual rights on the internet. We will oppose any politician who does so, no matter what their party affiliation is. Our movement is growing, and with it so is our influence.
The letter was finished a bit earlier than expected, so with our extra time we discussed up and coming politicians who support #netfreedom. All of us crowd-sourced some truly innovative (and sometimes wacky!) ideas to garner more support for #netfreedom candidates who may be seen as the “under dogs” in their races. These ideas will undoubtedly find their way to our subreddit soon.
Speaking of our subreddit, that’s where we need you to come in to fine tune and further discuss plans before we can actually implement them. If typing your ideas doesn’t suit you, the field committee has live discussions and is always recruiting – we meet on Sunday evenings on Skype. Send an email to treasurer@testpac.org if you’re interested in joining.
